Texas A&M University- Kingsville (TAMUK) will present the annual Spring Fling Wednesday, March 27 on University Blvd.

From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. different organizations will gather around the boulevard and fundraise for their clubs. Drinks, food, fun, and games will be available at the event.

“It’s just like Fall Carnival,” said SGA president Sarah Schwandt, “ All the organizations have booths out there.”

The Computer Science Association and Campus Activities Board (CAB) are hosting the event.

CAB hosted two Spring Fling informationals, March 19th and 21st in the Student Union Building for participants that submitted registration for a booth or volunteers that would like to participate.

Last year’s Spring Fling featured The Spazmatics, and had a great deal of people turn out according to former CAB President David Sanders.

The whole community is encouraged to come to Spring Fling and spend the evening with TAMUK.

There are several other upcoming activities CAB has planned for the spring semester including comedian Chad Daniels, Easter Egg Hunt, and a Paint Balloon Fight.
