After an eventful homecoming week at Texas A&M Kingsville the last of the festivities finished with traditional tailgating and then the Javelina vs. Angelo State football game.

Many students, along with alumni, gathered in the new tailgating area to support out Fighting Javelina’s for tonight’s game. The featured entertainment for tonight was J.R. Castillo performing his favorite hits including “Leave the Light On”, “Dance Hall Romance”, and “The Flip Side Of Sober”.

Along with music from J.R. Castillo and The Pride of South Texas Javelina Band, there were raffles for the fans to win prizes. Also the long time tradition Fajita Cook-off took place along with other food entries as well.
