Spring Fling has not even happened and already, the people at Texas A&M University – Kingsville Campus Activity Board (CAB) are preparing for life after the Spaz-a-thon.
On Friday, CAB will screen the ’70s blockbuster hit Jaws.
Jaws is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Roy Sheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss.
The movie, based on Peter Benchley’s best selling novel is about a Great White shark that terrorizes the small town of Amity and the police chief, marine scientist and the fisherman who set out to stop it. The movie, filmed in 1975, won three Oscars.
There will be two screenings at 7 and 9 pm in the MSUB Ballroom A
On Monday, April 2, comedian Melissa Villasenor will perform as part of college tour that started in January and has taken her all around the country.
Villasenor competed in Season 6 of “America’s Got Talent.” Her audition consisted of her imitating the voices of Barbara Walters, Natalie Portman, Miley Cyrus, Kathy Griffin and Christina Aguilera. Her Facebook page describes her as a stand-up comedian, impressionist, and singer.
She has appeared on FrankTV on TBS, Family Guy, Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and Adventure Time on Cartoon Network.
