Starting off the Spring 2012 semester is a slew of fun activities on campus for all students and faculty. Texas A&M-Kingsville will continue its “Jump into Spring” activities this week. The festivities are designed to help students and transfers get back into the scholastic spirit by celebrating the return back together. Last week started with a snow fight in front of the Javelina statues, followed by a magic show by magician Daniel Martin on Thursday night. Tonight, the “New Year’s Bash” will be held at the game room from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., where there will be plenty of free food and games for all. Activities this week include the Greek Showcase on Wednesday, January 25th, in Ballroom A at 6 p.m. All students that are interested in joining the Greek life may come by to meet all active campus fraternities and sororities. On Thursday, January 26th, there will be a “Bust out Your Boots” dance in Ballroom A from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., so go on by for music, dance, and food. The movie “Tower Heist” will be shown in Ballroom A on Friday, January 27th, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. as well. CAB will be sponsoring the Friday movie night.
