They matched each other step for step in field goals, both inside and beyond the arc, and in free throws in the first half.
It remained tight in the second half. No team had a lead larger than eight points.
Cameron ultimately pulled ahead in the waning minutes of the game.
The Javelinas move to 9-8 on the season and 1-5 in the Lone Star Conference while Cameron moves to 12-7 and 5-2 in LSC play
The Javelinas next game will be against the Angelo State Rams in San Angelo next Saturday at 4 p.m.
