Fall, more than just a something that happens when you miss a step while walking past an attractive person. It is a time for the leaves to change color, to finally wear the clothes you’ve wanted to wear in the summer but could not because of heat.
But it is also a time for fall TV to come back and assert its presence over us. Over the last two years I lost a few of my favorite TV shows with How I Met Your Mother and Parks and Recreation and I was not confident that I could find replacements for these shows.
The 2015 Fall TV line is the most impressive it has been in recent years, and there is a number of shows that I am more than excited for.
First one was The Muppets, I have stated in last week’s review that I am a huge Muppet, and it brings me great joy to see one of my favorite franchises back on the air.
The writing great and overall it is just a fun adventure which I feel like most shows these days are missing. It is also apparent that the guest stars are having fun with it. This week Nick Offerman dropped by and seeing him on the show just brought all kinds of joy to my heart.
These next two shows pretty much go hand in hand with each other, I speak of course of the CW’s Flash and Arrow. Flash is entering its second season after a very successful first season. It was inventive and a great contract to Arrow.
One of the greatest things about the character of Barry Allen is that he is just a normal guy with super powers and he lives every day with his powers like it is the best thing in the world.
The second season is set to follow up the success of the last season and we’ll see The Flash face off against the Rogues again, and the infamous Professor Zoom.
Arrow is coming back for its fourth season after a rough third season. In my opinion the third season was not as great as the first two, I am optimistic that this season will be great.
Finally the Arrow will become the Green Arrow and supposedly from early rumors we may see the Green Arrow that people have read in the comics for years with more light hearted adventures and fun.
Though I am a big fan of the gritty dark take it is a good background for a hero like Green Arrow how has no super powers, he is like a less rich Batman.
Finally, American Horror Story returns with its fifth incarnation Hotel. The creators of this show also created Glee, have found the perfect formula for creating a great story. Probably the best thing of this show is how every season is a fresh take.
New story, new characters, but same actors, it is a great way to get new viewer to watch the show and if you do not like the theme of this year’s show you can always skip it.
Fall TV is already lining up to be a great season, there are way more shows that I can talk about. Other notable mentions are Supernatural, Bob’s Burgers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I Zombie, and Doctor Who.
Whatever you are into you are sure to be happy whether you are a returning longtime fan or looking to get into something new.
