Case 11-1106 THEFT

On Monday November 8, 2011 at 8:47 a.m. Someone took South Texan Newspapers from University Village. Later that day, the editor found over 100 newspapers in the trash can in Southwest area of Matrin Hall and over 150 newspapers in the trash in Eckhart Hall. Police looked at camera footage and could not see anyone with the stolen newspapers.

Case 11-1096 LITTERING

An R.A. in Bishop Hall called UPD to report three individuals breaking bottles at the Northwest entrance of Bishop Hall. The R.A. said that the individuals were sitting on the bench outside the dorms. Police questioned the three students, but they could not find any incriminating evidence against them.

Case 11-1095 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Between 2:00-3:55 p.m. on November 6, 2011, a male student left his vehicle in the parallel parking area on Engineering Ave. Upon returning, he noticed that the roof of his vehicle was caved in from the sun roof. He said that he didn’t have enemies.

Case 11-1092 FIRE ALARM

At 10:56 p.m. on November 5, 2011, police arrived at Rhode Hall. Initially, they thought that the fire alarms were malfunctioning, but they realized that someone had tampered with one of the fire alarms.

Case 11-1091 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On November 5, 2011, an R.A. at University Village reported graffiti in one of the stairwells. Written in spray paint: “4-20”, “suck my dick”, and “dick suckers” was written in green spray paint.

Case 11-1065 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

At 8:56 a.m. on November 1, 2011, police arrived at UV and noticed that someone had egged all of the vehicles in the parking lot in front of University Village.

Case 11-1064 SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

At 12:41 a.m. on Halloween, an R.A. called UPD to report someone popping fireworks at the south side of the dorms once again. No one was found in the area.
